Mexican Food Burrito Company is a site maintained by Mauro’s Kitchen.
Our Beginning – We began making burritos back in 2002. The burrito that started it all was a simple Bean, Beef & Green Chili Burrito.
The first day that we began our Burrito Peddling Business, I awakened at 5 A.M, and started by making a batch that would make around 60 burritos.
I fried the hamburger which was a 5lb. Roll that you can buy on sale at any grocery store and is your typical ” Cheap” burger.
The other ingredients that I used were canned Green Chili Peppers, A bit of canned diced Jalapenos, diced canned Tomatoes & last, canned Pinto Beans!
Amazingly with the special combination of spices and proper cooking I had a ” Frickin Good Burrito! ” My husband and his nephew each went out with about
30 burritos. I was unsure and scared that we would have a bunch left over & would be eating burritos for weeks to come.
Well I had nothing to worry about because when they returned a couple of hours later, they had both sold out and both were told by various customers, that if we were to make a breakfast burrito that they would have bought one of those too.
We have evolved since then and will now only use quality lean meat, specially made tortillas. We cook our beans from scratch and are very selective in using fire roasted chili peppers. And our burritos are still “Frickin Good!”
